What should I expect during the ADHD assessment?

During the first part of you assessment, you will engage in a structured clinical interview with a Clinical Psychologist, Jerome Perera. This process helps us understand your symptoms and experiences to provide an accurate diagnosis of your symptoms of ADHD.

The second part of the assessment involves completing a range of online assessments which will help measure and quantify your unique profile of ADHD. This will also involve the completion of a short questionnaire to rule out other diagnoses.

The third step of assessment involved obtaining your completed report as well as an ADHD debriefing session included in the price of your assessment.

Is the assessment covered by health insurance?

ADHD assessments are not covered by Medicare. Private insurance coverage of assessments may also vary. Some private insurance plans may cover assessments. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage options and any potential out-of-pocket costs.

What is the cost of the ADHD assessment?

ADHD assessments are currently priced at $2,000. Payment plans can be available upon request.

How long does the assessment take?

The clinical interview typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The duration of the questionnaire and assessment typically takes 1 hour. Upon successful completion of the interview and assessments, Jerome will prepare the report and schedule a follow up appointment for feedback within 7-10 working days. The feedback appointment lasts for 30 minutes.

What happens after the assessment is completed?

After the assessment is completed, you will receive a detailed report outlining the findings and recommendations. Jerome will discuss the results with you and provide guidance on potential treatment options and recommendations for your ADHD presentation.
